Our Mission

We empower families to navigate technology with intentionality, grounding parents in their offline values and helping children develop attention and self-regulation. By fostering calm amidst the chaos, we support parents through reflection and introspection, guiding them through the emotional and psychological transitions of raising children in a tech-driven world.

Our approach

We focus on meaningful practices that foster lasting change, steering clear of quick fixes and superficial tips—because your family deserves lifelong impact.

Strengthening Parent-Child Connection

Investing in this relationship offline ensures your family stays connected and resilient in an ever-online world.

Prioritizing Offline Identity

When you know who you are offline, you’re more likely to engage in activities that bring positive emotions and foster a sense of purpose.

Rooted In Your Family Values

Making family decisions based on values rather than cultural norms ensures that technology enhances, rather than detracts, from family life

Flourishing offline, together

Grounded in deeper connection, families can build stronger bonds, enhance communication, and create a foundation for lifelong emotional well-being.

Our Team

  • Debra Giunta

    Debra Giunta, Co-Founder

Debra is a passionate youth advocate, serving as founder of Design Dance, Prismatic and The Brainchild Collective.

After 15+ years of delivering social emotional learning (SEL) programs to 5000+ PreK-12 students each year, she's seen first hand that our relationships with technology can be our greatest barrier to mental well-being.

Kindred brings practical, evidence-based SEL practices home to families everywhere.

  • Matt Pulley, Co-Founder

Matt is a software engineer turned tech entrepreneur, but above all, a father.

After over 20 years building tech companies, he took time to be a stay-at-home dad. While taking a step back from the tech world, he realized that social media and other engagement-based technologies aren't working in the best interest of our youth — or that of their families.

His mission is to reshape how technology is built and deployed into society, supporting parents and families along the way.
